How Antioxidants Help In Detoxification
Adding antioxidants to your detox diet is a very important component in the cleansing process.
What are antioxidants? They are basically a group of organic substances that counteracts the damaging effects of oxidation, which are caused by free radicals. Free radicals are by-products of several cell processes.
An example of such process is the oxidation of oxygen molecules in your body. Free radicals can also result from the exposure to radiation, tobacco smoke and other pollutants. They can break cell walls and other vital cell structures such that cancer results. With antioxidants in your detox diet, free radicals could be successfully deactivated. This helps to prevent further cell damage.

Liver Cleansing Program Since this is the first day, it is advisable that you consume vegetables and have a fruit juice. You can opt for steamed sweet potatoes, beetroots, and take ten almonds as supplements. You would not feel hungry in the first phase of the liver detoxification process. For juice, you can choose orange.
